May 14, 2008 · The problem comes when you're barreling quite quickly towards a roundabout with the cruise on and then change down from say 6th to 5th just before braking for the roundabout. In my old S4, the action of pressing the clutch to down-shift to 5th turned off the cruise control, but with the A5 it stays engaged.

Easy to do on an A5 as you remove slam panel and the switch is next to the rad. It is much harder on a b7 A4 as you have to take the headlight out.
